Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Online Recruitment Fair

The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) office at the Canadian Embassy in France is organizing an online recruitment fair to connect Canadian employers with qualified French-speaking and bilingual international candidates in the Tourism-Hospitality-Culinary sector.

If you are an employer with job openings in this sector, in provinces or territories other than Quebec, you are invited to register here to participate. Registration is open from September 23 to October 27, 2024.

Participation is free of charge but the number of places is limited. If your request to participate is accepted, you will be invited to post your job offers.

Candidates will submit their request to participate online.   They will provide information on their level of education, work experience, English and French language skills, and upload their CV.  IRCC will make a selection among these candidates to invite those who seem to best match the needs of employers and meet the criteria for immigration programs.

Among the candidates who will be invited to participate, some will already be in Canada with a study or work permit but most will be outside Canada. They will be eligible for a facilitated work permit in the Mobilité francophone stream which allows you to hire Francophone or bilingual foreign nationals for positions outside Quebec without having to get a Labour Market Impact Assessment.

The virtual booths will be open on Wednesday November 13, Thursday November 14 and Friday November 15 from 3 pm to 8 pm Paris time (9 am to 2 pm Ottawa time).  You will be able to consult the candidates’ profiles and CVs and exchange with them by chat or videoconferencing.

IRCC agents and representatives from the provinces and territories will be online to explain the immigration process and answer questions about work permits.

If you have positions to fill but are not available to participate in Destination Canada Tourism-Hospitality-Restoration, we will be pleased to put you in touch with an exhibitor in your province or territory who can post your positions and refer to you candidates who seem to meet your requirements.
