PEI Event Innovation Fund
The PEI Events Innovation Fund (PEIF) project was established by the Tourism Industry Association of Prince Edward Island (TIAPEI) with the support of ACOA to contribute to innovative event development to build the Island’s Tourism Industry. The PEI Events Innovation Fund provides support to Island non-profit organizations to rebuild and reinvent festivals and events through the changing landscape.
Projects were evaluated by an industry-led committee for their alignment with strategic tourism investment pillars such as potential high-yield visitation, season extension, innovative digital and marketing strategies, clustering, and overall potential for future development.
The intent of the fund was to enable tourism stakeholders to assess new festival and event ideas, adapt current offerings, and diversify the Island’s festivals and events sector.
